We have grown up with biological wastewater treatment – and the wastewater treatment plants we are planning are also large. As a rule, they are designed to treat the wastewater of up to 200,000 inhabitants.
SBR technology (Sequence Batch Reactor) is our specialty for wastewater treatment with oxygen and activated sludge. In this type of wastewater treatment, all processes of the activated sludge process take place in one tank (also known as a reactor).
Depending on customer requirements, we also plan and build conventional plants based on the continuous flow principle with different tanks for primary clarification, sludge aeration and secondary clarification.
In addition to a first treatment stage (removal of solids from the wastewater), our wastewater treatment plants are also equipped with a second (carbon elimination by microorganisms) and third treatment stage (further nutrient elimination).
At the customer’s request, we are increasingly equipping newer plants with a fourth purification stage. This uses ozone and activated carbon to remove pharmaceutical residues and water-soluble flocculants to remove microplastics from the wastewater.
We are also familiar with wastewater disinfection and filtration processes.
In line with the “Waste2Energy” credo, our plants can be equipped with an additional stage for anaerobic sludge stabilization with biogas production, heat and energy generation at your request.
One step further – is the development of new technologies to filter out and utilize nitrogen and phosphorus in wastewater and excess sludge.
In addition to our specialty, SBR plants, our product range also includes mobile wastewater treatment plants in container design and wastewater plants with fixed-bed reactors.
Anaerobic sludge treatment: The methane gas produced is used to generate electricity and utilize waste heat at the same time.
Compact plants based on the SBR principle allow complex wastewater treatment with bacteria in the smallest of spaces.
Our plants are designed and built to the highest standards and with latest technology.
